Enhanced second-harmonic generation from gold complementary split-ring resonators with a dielectric coating

Zhaofu Qin et al.

Summary: Alumina coating on CSRRs in a gold film creates a doubly-resonant condition for enhanced second-harmonic generation (SHG). Experimental results show a significant enhancement in SHG when a certain thickness of alumina film is coated, compared to uncoated CSRRs.
