Malignant lymphoma and occupational exposure to extremely low frequency magnetic fields and electrical shocks: a nested case-control study in a cohort of four Nordic countries

Hamed Jalilian et al.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the association between occupational exposure to extremely low frequency magnetic fields (ELF-MFs) and electric shocks and the risk of lymphoma. Based on a large Nordic census-based cohort, the study found no association between occupational exposure to ELF-MFs and electric shocks and the risk of lymphoma.

A systematic review and meta-analysis of occupational exposures and risk of follicular lymphoma

Michael K. Odutola et al.

Summary: This study conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis on the relationship between occupational exposures and follicular lymphoma (FL). The findings suggested a positive association between FL and exposure to DDE, PCBs, any solvent, and chlorinated solvents. It also indicated that certain occupations, such as medical doctors and spray painters, had an increased risk, while others like bakers and teachers had a decreased risk of FL.
