Independent gradient model based on Hirshfeld partition: A new method for visual study of interactions in chemical systems

Tian Lu et al.

Summary: The powerful independent gradient model (IGM) method has limitations in graphically studying weak interactions. In this article, an improved version of IGM, called IGM based on Hirshfeld partition (IGMH), is proposed to overcome the shortcomings. The rigorous physical background of IGMH is demonstrated through various application examples, showcasing its important value in intuitively understanding interactions in chemical systems.

Preconcentration of triazole fungicides using effervescent assisted switchable hydrophilicity solvent-based microextraction prior to high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis

Jaruwan Palasak et al.

Summary: An effective preconcentration method, effervescent assisted switchable hydrophilicity solvent-based microextraction with the solidification of floating organic droplet, was investigated for enrichment of triazole fungicides prior to their analysis by HPLC. The experimental results showed that this method has good linearity, low limits of detection, and acceptable enrichment factors for the analysis of trace levels of triazole fungicides in water and honey samples.

Enantioseparation and determination of triazole fungicides in fruit juice by aqueous biphasic system coupled with HPLC-MS/MS

Hongzhe Tian et al.

Summary: An aqueous biphasic system based on choline ionic liquids and a copolymer was developed for the simultaneous determination of enantiomers of two fungicides. The extraction efficiency of the fungicides was significantly affected by the copolymer concentration, with little effect from the ionic liquid concentration. The system showed excellent extraction efficiency and could be applied to the analysis of triazole fungicides residue in real samples.
