Theoretical assessment of the impact of awareness programs on cholera transmission dynamic

Summary: In this paper, a mathematical model is proposed to study the impact of awareness programs on the transmission dynamics of cholera. The model divides the susceptible class into two subclasses and computes the Disease-Free Equilibrium and the basic reproduction number. The results show the importance of implementing strategies combining awareness programs and therapeutic treatments.
