Ning Sun et al.

Summary: Bubble breakup and coalescence play a crucial role in determining the size distribution of bubbles during migration in reservoirs. This study prepared a high-stability foam using dispersed particle gel particles as a stabilizer, and investigated its characteristics through various methods. The results showed that the foam reinforced by dispersed particle gel particles exhibited longer half-life, higher stability, and better plugging performance in the reservoir.

Soheyl Alidoust et al.

Summary: This study investigates the parameters affecting the relative thermal conductivity (RTC) of SWCNT (15%)-Fe3O4 (85%)/Water Hybrid Ferro-Nanofluid (HFNF). The study examines the contributions of temperature and solid volume fraction (SVF) and reports a significant increase in RTC for HFNF compared to water. The study also uses response surface methodology (RSM) to predict the behavior of HFNF and finds a high correlation and RTC sensitivity.

Significance of concentration-dependent viscosity on the dynamics of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid subject to motile microorganisms over a non-linear stretching surface

Imran Siddique et al.

Summary: The communication presents a theoretical framework for tangent hyperbolic fluid in a nano-biofilm, which includes stagnation point flow, chemical reaction, and bioconvection of gyrotactic microorganisms. The study considers various transport features and parameters to enhance heat transfer. Mathematical equations are solved using numerical methods and the effects on speed, temperature, concentration, and motile density are visually represented. The results indicate that certain parameters enhance velocity, temperature, and nanoparticle concentration, while others decrease skin friction and Sherwood, Nusselt, and motile density numbers.
