Summary: Dielectrics play essential roles in modern electrical and electronic devices, but current dielectrics are unable to meet the growing demand for miniaturization and integration. Research on dielectrics with higher energy density and efficiency, particularly perovskite relaxor ferroelectrics, is being conducted. Progress on optimizing these materials for better energy storage capability through hierarchical design has been made.

Effect of TiO2 substituting SiO2 on the rheological and crystallization behavior of mold slags for casting Ti-containing steel

Junde Ji et al.

Summary: This study investigated the influence of TiO2 substituting SiO2 on the rheological and crystallization behavior of mold slags for casting Ti-containing steel. The results showed that the substitution of SiO2 by TiO2 simplified the network structure of mold slags, lowered the viscosity, and promoted the crystallization of slags. Additionally, the crystallization of slags was enhanced with the increase of the TiO2/SiO2 ratio, while the parameter NBO/T and optical basicity of molten slags also increased.
