Comprehensive Investigation of Structural, Morphologic, Optical, Dielectric and Electrical of Ni0.3Cd0.7Cr2O4 Chromite to Optoelectronic Application

Hanen Dhibi et al.

Summary: This study examines the structural, optical, and dielectric properties of a Ni0.3Cd0.7Cr2O4 chromite sample prepared using the sol-gel method. The XRD analysis confirms the presence of a face-centered cubic spinel structure in the sample. The conduction process in the sample is described by the Non-Overlapping Small Polaron Tunneling (NSPT) and Correlated Barrier Hopping (CBH) models. The dielectric constants behavior is explained using the Maxwell-Wagner's theory of interfacial polarization. The optical properties, including the band gap energy and various parameters such as Urbach energy, dispersion energy, refractive index, optical extinction coefficient, and penetration depth, are also analyzed.

M. Nasri et al.

Summary: The critical behavior of La0.6Sr0.4MnO3/x(Sb2O3) (x = 0.07 and x = 0.18) compounds was studied based on static magnetic measurements. The estimated critical exponents for both compounds were close to Ising model values. The influence of critical exponents on the magneto-caloric effect was also investigated.

Study of critical magnetic behavior around the ferromagnetic-paramagnetic phase transition of the half-doped perovskite Nd0.5Ba0.5CoO3

Karim Souifi et al.

Summary: This research paper conducted an in-depth study of the critical phenomena at the FM-PM phase transition for Nd0.5Ba0.5CoO3 (NBCO) and estimated the critical exponents and critical temperature of the compound using various techniques. The obtained critical exponents were in agreement with the mean-field model, and the non-homogeneous nature of the NBCO compound was revealed. Results also showed reasonably good agreement between the magnetic entropy change and spontaneous magnetization values obtained and those from classical extrapolation of Arrott plots.
