Family interventions for relapse prevention in schizophrenia: a systematic review and network meta-analysis

Alessandro Rodolico et al.

Summary: This study compared the efficacy, acceptability, and tolerability of different family intervention models for relapse prevention in schizophrenia through a network meta-analysis. The results showed that almost all family intervention models were effective in preventing relapse, with family psychoeducation alone being superior to more complex models. The findings suggest that family psychoeducation alone should be implemented in contexts with limited resources.
