Recent Progress in Organic Solar Cells: A Review on Materials from Acceptor to Donor

Yang Li et al.

Summary: Organic solar cells have gained significant interest in recent decades due to their low cost, flexibility, semitransparency, non-toxicity, and suitability for large-scale processing. Advances in active layer materials, electrodes, and device structures, particularly the innovation of active layer materials, have greatly contributed to the improvement of power conversion efficiency (PCE) in OSCs.

Comparative degradation analysis of V2O5, MoO3 and their stacks as hole transport layers in high-efficiency inverted polymer solar cells

Angel Sacramento et al.

Summary: This study presents a comparative degradation analysis of high-efficiency inverted organic solar cells, revealing that devices with MoO3 as the hole transport layer exhibit better long-term stability. On the other hand, devices with V2O5 as the hole transport layer degrade faster. The long-term stability was studied for 19600 hours following the ISOS-D1 protocols.
