Alkynylsilanes are important structural units used in various fields. A method for direct coupling reaction and alkynylation of hydrosilanes using a hydrogen atom transfer strategy and visible-light-driven photocatalysis was reported. The protocol also showed applicability to dihydroalkyl/aryl silanes using 4CzIPN and quinuclidine as photocatalysts.
Alkynylsilanes are significant structural units frequentlyusedin synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, functional materials,and life sciences. Herein, we report a method for using a hydrogenatom transfer (HAT) strategy in combination with visible-light-drivenphotocatalysis to achieve a direct coupling reaction between benzenesulfonyl acetylene and tertiary silanes, and a diverse alkynylationof hydrosilanes in the presence of reactive groups was achieved withthis strategy. It is important to note that dihydroalkyl/aryl silanesare also suitable for the protocol of HAT photocatalytic of 4CzIPNand quinuclidine.
