The optimized EHEs exhibited stability and high performance in lithium symmetric batteries and high-loading cathodes. Summary: In this study, nitrogen-containing carbon nanofibers (NCFs) combined with spinel manganese-cobalt oxide (MCO) nanospheres were designed as a membrane electrode for lithium/polysulfides batteries, which effectively suppressed the shuttle effect and improved the redox kinetics of lithium polysulfides. The results showed that the composite electrode exhibited high stability cycling capacity and improved reaction kinetics, indicating a significant improvement in the application capacity of lithium/sulfur batteries.
