Quantum fields presentation and generating functions of symplectic Schur functions and symplectic universal characters

Summary: This paper focuses on the construction of quantum fields presentation and generating functions for symplectic Schur functions and symplectic universal characters. The boson-fermion correspondence for these symmetric functions has been introduced. By utilizing quantum fields, a series of infinite order nonlinear integrable equations, namely, universal character hierarchy, symplectic KP hierarchy, and symplectic universal character hierarchy, have been derived. Additionally, the solutions of these integrable systems have been discussed.

Polynomial Tau Functions of Symplectic KP and Multi-component Symplectic KP Hierarchies

Summary: This paper proves that the zero mode of an appropriate combinatorial generating function is a polynomial tau-function of a symplectic KP hierarchy, and extends it to the multi-component SKP hierarchy. Moreover, the polynomial tau-function of the SKP hierarchy is written as a determinant form using the Vandermonde-like identity.

The study also includes the construction of plethystic-type BKP hierarchy and the corresponding integrable hierarchy with a twisted coupled Jacobi-Trudi formula.

Multi-component universal character hierarchy and its polynomial tau-functions

Summary: In this paper, the polynomial tau-function in terms of the universal characters of the universal character hierarchy is found, which can be treated as a zero mode of an appropriate combinatorial generating function. Furthermore, a multi-component UC hierarchy is defined and the polynomial tau-functions of the multi-component UC hierarchy are obtained.

Polynomial tau-functions of the KP, BKP, and the s-component KP hierarchies

Summary: This study reveals that any polynomial tau-function of the s-component KP and the BKP hierarchies can be understood as a zero-mode of a suitable combinatorial generating function. Explicit formulas for these polynomial tau-functions are obtained in terms of Schur polynomials and Q-Schur polynomials, respectively. Additionally, formulas for polynomial tau-functions of the reductions of the s-component KP hierarchy associated with partitions in s parts are derived.

The Orthogonal and Symplectic Schur Functions, Vertex Operators and Integrable Hierarchies

Summary: In this paper, an integrable system is constructed with solutions including orthogonal Schur functions and symplectic Schur functions. It is found that these functions can be obtained through a Boson-Fermion correspondence which differs slightly from the classical one. Additionally, a universal character satisfying the bilinear equation of a new infinite-dimensional integrable orthogonal UC hierarchy is constructed.
