A model of intermittent gas lift operation was created, solving the boundary value problem of nonstationary gas and fluid motion in a formation-well system. The optimal time for fluid accumulation in the well, leading to maximal fluid production per 24 hours, was determined. Analytical expressions were obtained to determine the cycle time of gas lift operation, and numerical calculations were conducted.
A model of operation of intermittent gas lift has been constructed. The boundary value problem of nonstationary motion of gas and fluid in a formation-well system has been solved. The time of fluid accumulation in the well at which the volume of fluid production per 24 hours is maximal has been determined. Analytical expressions have been obtained for determination of the cycle time of gas lift operation. Numerical calculations have been carried out.
