The molecular interactions of ternary mixtures of 1-propanol + 1,3-diaminopropane + methyl acetate were studied by measuring the physicochemical properties of the liquid mixtures. Various properties such as density, viscosity, speed of sound, and refractive index were measured at different temperatures and pressures. The experimental data was used to calculate excess molar volume, deviation in viscosity, excess molar isentropic compressibility, excess free volume, and other properties.
Themolecular interactions of ternary mixtures of 1-propanol +1,3-diaminopropane + methyl acetate were studied by the insight intothe physicochemical properties of given liquid mixtures. Density, viscosity, speed of sound, and refractive index data were measuredfor 1P, 1,3-DAP, MAc, and their ternary liquid mixtures at five differenttemperatures (T = 298.15-318.15 K) and at0.1 MPa pressure. Based on the experimental data, excess molar volume, deviation in viscosity, deviation in ultrasonic speed, excess molarisentropic compressibility, excess free volume, excess intermolecularfree length, excess available volume, and deviation in refractiveindex were calculated, and these evaluated properties were fittedto the Singh equation. The excess molar volume data were also fittedto the Nagata and Cibulka equations. Further, the Kohler model, Tsao-Smithmodel, Radojkovic model, Jacob-Fitzner model, and Rastogi modelwere used to calculate the excess molar volume values. Different correlationswere applied for the estimation of the speed of sound and refractiveindex values.
