Clinical and Echocardiographic Diversity Associated With Physical Fitness in the Project Baseline Health Study: Implications for Heart Failure Staging

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the heterogeneity of clinical and echocardiographic features in the development of heart failure and evaluate their association with exercise capacity. Through surveys and examinations of community-dwelling individuals, diverse clinical and echocardiographic features were observed, which were related to exercise capacity. The presence or absence of heart failure risk factors and echocardiographic abnormalities in different subgroups had varying impacts on physical performance.
