Heart rate variability in patients with dementia or neurocognitive disorders: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Patients with dementia, especially those with Lewy body dementia and mild cognitive impairment, show lower parasympathetic activity compared to healthy controls. A Systematic Review of the Application of Functional Near-InfraredSpectroscopy to the Study of Cerebral Hemodynamics in Healthy Aging
