Barriers to Adoption of Electronic Health Record Systems from the Perspective of Nurses A Cross-sectional Study

Summary: This study aimed to investigate barriers to implementing electronic health record systems from the perspective of nurses. The findings suggest that barriers to the adoption of electronic health records include high patient loads, limited time, lack of knowledge and skills for effective use of the system, lack of user-friendly interfaces, and attachment to traditional methods. Innovative strategies should be explored to overcome these barriers.
