Design of rapid exponential integral nonlinear tracking differentiator

Zhenzhen Chen et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel tracking differentiator with an acceleration function, utilizing an exponential integral function with adjustable slope in combination with linear and terminal attractor functions to improve tracking performance and response speed. Frequency domain characteristics are analyzed using the least squares sweep test, stability is proved with the Lyapunov method, and numerical simulations demonstrate effective suppression of high-frequency noise and increased accuracy in tracking input signals.

Fixed-time convergent sliding-modes-based differentiators

Said Djennoune et al.

Summary: This paper proposes novel sliding mode differentiators with a prescribed convergence time, allowing for convergence time selection regardless of large initial estimation errors. The key solution is based on a time-dependent transformation using modulating functions to cancel the effect of initial conditions on convergence time, introducing new arbitrary order differentiators and the super-twisting algorithm. The convergence of the proposed differentiators is proven using Lyapunov functions and homogeneity tools, with robustness to measurement noise also addressed.

Cooperative Smooth Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Guidance with Tracking Differentiator for Active Aircraft Defense

Quancheng Li et al.

Summary: Aiming at the poor performance of guidance algorithms based on a linearized model in active defense under large leading angle deviation, both-way and one-way cooperative sliding mode guidance algorithms based on the smooth nonsingular terminal sliding mode for the defense missile are proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed guidance strategy is verified through numerical simulation, and the high accuracy, anti-chattering, and strong robustness of the proposed guidance algorithm are confirmed.

Leader-Follower Trajectory Control for Quadrotors via Tracking Differentiators and Disturbance Observers

Hongjiu Yang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates trajectory tracking controller and position controller for leader-follower trajectory control of quadrotors. A tracking differentiator is designed to generate speed signals, and a nonlinear disturbance observer is used based on state errors. A saturation law with anti-trigonometric functions is adopted in the position controller. Experiment results demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method for quadrotors.

Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Position Tracking of Electro-Hydraulic Servo Systems under Modeling Uncertainty and External Load

Manh Hung Nguyen et al.

Summary: An active disturbance rejection control is designed to improve the position tracking performance of an electro-hydraulic actuation system in the presence of uncertainties and external disturbances. The disturbance observers estimate both matched and mismatched disturbances, with unmeasurable angular velocity robustly calculated using Levant's exact differentiator. The control design system based on the backstepping framework guarantees high-accuracy tracking performance, as verified through simulations on an electro-hydraulic rotary actuator.

Summary: This article introduces the application and convergence analysis of Time Optimal Control (TOC) combined with Tracking Differentiator (TD) in signal processing, and provides a rule of thumb for regulating parameters based on the frequency-domain characteristics of DTOC-TD in signal tracking filtering and differentiation acquisition.
