NMR-Driven Identification of Cinnamon Bud and Bark Components With Anti-Aβ Activity

Summary: This study investigated the anti-amyloidogenic properties of cinnamon extracts obtained from bark and bud. Both extracts showed potent anti-amyloidogenic activity, with flavanols and cinnamaldehydes identified as the active components. The findings suggest that cinnamon polyphenols have multitarget anti-Alzheimer's disease activity and can be used for developing nutraceuticals and designing new anti-amyloidogenic drugs.

Regional Diversity of Maritime Antarctic Soil Fungi and Predicted Responses of Guilds and Growth Forms to Climate Change
