Summary: This article examines how Psychology influences neoliberalism and fundamentalism in the context of the Kashmiri Pandit refugee crisis in India, and how psychological discourse, particularly trauma theory, can impact national Islamophobia. It also explores the potential negative effects of using psychological discourse without critical thinking in clinical practice, and suggests the concept of aproductive suffering as a way to counteract the recuperation of psychological ideology.

Mental health nurses' resilience in the context of emotional labour: An interpretive qualitative study

Summary: Strengthening mental health nurses' resilience is important in mitigating the negative effects of emotional labour. This study explores how mental health nurses build and maintain resilience in the face of high levels of emotional labour. The findings suggest that mental health nurses develop resilience by being attuned to self and others, having a positive mindset grounded in purpose, and maintaining psychological equilibrium through proactive self-care. However, lack of organizational support and high workplace demands can hinder their resilience.
