Power-sharing for dc microgrid with composite storage devices and voltagerestoration without communication

Summary: This paper proposes a new decentralized control and power-sharing strategy for managing powerflow among energy sources, energy storage systems, and the common dc-link. The proposed technique eliminates communication among energy storage systems to reduce complexity and increase reliability while maintaining dc-link voltage restoration. The technique achieves power imbalance sharing among batteries proportional to their state-of-charge and energy capacity, and promotes voltage restoration for ultracapacitors.
