Sizing and Locating Planning of EV Centralized-Battery-Charging-Station Considering Battery Logistics System

Summary: This article explores the optimal planning of a centralized charging and multipoint distribution network, which includes centralized battery charging stations (CBCSs) and battery distribution stations (BDSs), while also taking into account the battery logistics system. The study proposes a time-space load forecasting model for swapping electric vehicles (SEVs) based on an analysis of their travel chain characteristics. In addition, operation models for CBCSs, BDSs, and the battery logistics system are developed through function and characteristic analysis. The article then presents sizing models for CBCSs and BDSs, followed by a double-level planning model that considers the battery logistics system. The first level of planning determines the sizes and locations of CBCSs and BDSs, while the second level optimizes the economy of the battery logistics company. The planning model is solved using the CPLEX toolbox and Bellman-Ford algorithm. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified using a specific region as the planning area.
