Deterministic Network Calculus-Based H∞ Load Frequency Control of Multiarea Power Systems Under Malicious DoS Attacks

Yajian Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper proposes an LFC scheme resilient to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks in multiarea power systems. By describing the dynamic boundary behaviors of data flow and deducing the analytic relationships among transmission parameters, the paper establishes a jumping model that demonstrates the dynamic evolution process of LFC systems under DoS attacks and stochastic delays. The paper further deduces stabilization criteria considering parameter uncertainties using the Lyapunov theory and develops a constrained optimization algorithm. Case studies validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
