Mechanism Analysis of Output Fluctuation in a Three-Phase Dynamic Wireless Charging System

Beibei Song et al.

Summary: This article analyzes the output voltage fluctuation in a dynamic wireless charging system. By decomposing the magnetic field into fundamental and harmonic traveling wave magnetic fields, a new calculation method of induced voltage is proposed. The study reveals that the harmonics are the ultimate cause of the output fluctuation. Furthermore, two methods to reduce the output fluctuation are proposed, and the impact on efficiency is analyzed.
