A fog-assisted system to defend against Sybils in vehicular crowdsourcing

Summary: Technological advancements in vehicular transportation systems have led to the growth of novel paradigms, such as Vehicular Social Networks (VSNs), which utilize vehicles and infrastructures to infer high-level knowledge. This paper proposes a fog-assisted system called SybilDriver that effectively detects and minimizes the presence of Sybil entities in VSN-based crowdsourcing applications. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of SybilDriver in detecting Sybils and the low impact of the fog architecture on network overhead.
