Atomic Mobilities and Interdiffusivities for fcc Ni-Cr-Nb Alloys

向作者/读者索取更多资源

The atomic mobilities and diffusion characteristics for fcc Ni-Cr-Nb alloys are explored by diffusion couples annealed at 1273 K (1000 A degrees C) for 200 hours. The interdiffusion coefficients are extracted from intersection points of two diffusion paths, after which the atomic mobilities of Ni, Cr, and Nb in fcc Ni-Cr-Nb alloys are inversely obtained within the CALPHAD framework with the aid of related thermodynamic descriptions. In order to verify the quality of obtained kinetic parameters so that an accurate Ni-based atomic mobility database can be established, the composition profiles in diffusion couples and the diffusion paths superimposed upon Gibbs triangle are explored, where the experimentally measured and calculated values show good agreement.
