A gold nanoparticle-based visual aptasensor for rapid detection of acetamiprid residues in agricultural products using a smartphone

Chengnan Xu et al.

Summary: A stable, sensitive, and visual method for rapid detection of acetamiprid residues in agricultural products was established using gold nanoparticles and a smartphone readable strategy. The method showed good specificity with a detection process of only 40 minutes. The method can achieve quantitative analysis of acetamiprid in the range from 25 to 300 μM with a detection limit of about 3.81 μM, and demonstrated excellent recoveries in cucumber, cabbage, and river water samples.

Reliable colorimetric aptasensor exploiting 72-Mers ssDNA and gold nanoprobes for highly sensitive detection of aflatoxin M1 in milk

Jamras Lerdsri et al.

Summary: The development of a label-free colorimetric aptasensor for rapid quantification of aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) has been accomplished based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and aggregation of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The sensor has a detection limit of 0.002 ng mL-1, high analytical sensitivity, and practicality for real samples.

Colorimetric detection of ciprofloxacin in aqueous solution based on an unmodified aptamer and the aggregation of gold nanoparticles

Weiwen Huang et al.

Summary: The colorimetric method presented in this study involves the use of an unmodified CIP-aptamer and gold nanoparticles for the detection of antibiotic ciprofloxacin in aqueous solutions. The method allows for quantification of the concentration of CIP through changes in absorption, showing a good linear response in a certain concentration range. Ultimately, this proposed aptasensor demonstrates great potential for application in determining CIP in water samples.
