Effect of Chemical Ni - B Coating on the Structure and Tribological Properties of Plasma Nitrided Pure Titanium

The structure and the wear resistance of commercial-purity titanium subjected to plasma nitriding followed by chemical deposition of a Ni - B coating are studied.
