New microwave-assisted synthesis of ZIF-8

A new fast (15 min) microwave-assisted solvothermal synthesis of ZIF-8 with a high specific surface area (1419 m(2) g(-1)) is proposed, and the molar ratio between zinc salt and linker is optimized.
