Seasonal Temperature Variability and Mortality in the Medicare Population

Summary: This study examined the association between seasonal temperature variability and mortality in the United States and found that increased temperature variability in the warm and cold seasons was significantly associated with increased mortality rates. The effect of temperature variability was more pronounced than that of seasonal mean temperatures.
