Thermal environment model construction of Chinese solar greenhouse based on temperature-wave interaction theory

Summary: This study proposes a method to construct the thermal environment fluctuation model of Chinese solar greenhouse based on temperature-wave interaction theory. The model accurately describes the interaction between greenhouse internal components and the external greenhouse environment. The study provides specific thermal performance design requirements for the main heat storage components (walls) in a greenhouse and presents a new research method for the thermal environment model of Chinese solar greenhouse.

This approach, WC-KNNG-PC, has shown successful performance in clustering various dimensional and complex datasets with heterogeneous density and diverse shapes.

Design and experimental study of a Fresnel lens-based concentrated photovoltaic thermal system integrated with nanofluid spectral splitter

Summary: This study designed and verified a Fresnel lens-based solar concentrator integrated with a nanofluid spectral splitting photovoltaic thermal system. The optical loss was minimized by increasing the surface area and decreasing the optical path length. The spectral transmittance of the synthesized nanofluid was measured experimentally and a dynamic modeling energy balance equation was computed using MATLAB programming. The findings highlight the potentials of employing a low-cost ZnO nanofluid in a concentrated photovoltaic thermal system for full spectrum utilization.

Summary: In this work, the thermal and economic performance of parabolic trough collectors (PTCs) and PTCs with double glass envelope (DGE-PTCs) were analyzed, with DGE-PTCs showing higher thermal and economic performance at high operating temperatures. The study provides an opportunity for new PTC designs pursuing higher operating temperatures to achieve superior thermal cycle efficiencies.
