Additive manufacturing of three-dimensional graphene-based architectures and its application in environmental treatment: A review

Huining Zhang et al.

Summary: Graphene, a new class of nanomaterials, has great potential in environmental treatment. However, the use of graphene powder is limited by its shape. Therefore, it is significant to construct large-volume three-dimensional graphene structures for practical applications. This paper introduces commonly used methods for preparing three-dimensional structures, such as the template method and self-assembly method. However, these methods have disadvantages that can lead to structural defects and affect the mechanical properties of the fabricated structures. Additive manufacturing stands out with its advantages of easy operation, precise design, and batch preparation. The paper reviews the preparation methods based on graphene macroscopic bodies and their applications in environmental treatment, as well as discusses the difficulties and future development of three-dimensional graphene architectures for applications.

Green synthesis of Cu-Mo promoted Fe catalyst for production of the gaseous and liquid fuels through Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

Zahra Teimouri et al.

Summary: Designing a novel Fe catalyst with improved selectivity to light olefins and heavier hydrocarbons is important for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) as a clean energy resource. By optimizing the loadings of Fe, Mo, and Cu, the CO conversion and light olefin selectivity of the catalysts were significantly increased. The presence of Mo carbides also contributed to the catalytic activity and selectivity.
