Heterophase interfacial hybrid//graphene nanoscrolls based high performance lithium-ion hybrid supercapacitor

Karthik Kiran Sarigamala et al.

Summary: Carbon based materials, particularly graphene, have been used to develop a high-performance anode and cathode for Li-ion hybrid supercapacitor (LHS), resulting in a stable discharge capacity of 1541 mAhg-1 and 89 mAhg-1 respectively. The LHS device prototype fabricated using these materials offers an excellent energy density of 190 Whkg-1 and maximum power density of 9.6 kWkg-1. The integration of the device with a solar panel further demonstrates its potential for practical applications, particularly for storing intermittent energy supply.
