Summary: Numerous phosphate occurrences are found in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin in the Czech Republic, consisting mainly of carbonate-fluorapatite and associated with various minerals. These phosphates are rich in organic matter and critical elements. The Turonian phosphate occurrences located at the southern margins of the basin are recommended for future exploration of marine sedimentary phosphorites.
