Adaptive Event-Triggered SMC for Stochastic Switching Systems With Semi-Markov Process and Application to Boost Converter Circuit Model

Wenhai Qi et al.

Summary: This article investigates the sliding mode control design for a class of stochastic switching systems with an adaptive event-triggered mechanism to address network-induced communication constraints and semi-Markov switching parameters. The goal is to achieve stochastic stability and reduce communication burden by designing an appropriate SMC law. By introducing a stochastic semi-Markov Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are established for stochastic stability, and a suitable SMC law is designed to drive the system state onto a specified sliding surface in a finite-time region. Simulation results on a boost converter circuit model demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical findings.

Adaptive output-feedback neural tracking control for uncertain switched MIMO nonlinear systems with time delays

Jie Kong et al.

Summary: This paper investigates adaptive output-feedback neural tracking control for uncertain switched MIMO nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems with time delays. Neural networks and hypothesis are used to handle unknown factors, and an adaptive neural controller is constructed for each subsystem. It is proven that all signals and system outputs are bounded under arbitrary switching.

Quantum-Interference Artificial Neural Network With Application to Space Manipulator Control

Yuchen She et al.

Summary: A new artificial neural network framework based on the quantum-interference principle is introduced to improve the performance of neural-network-based adaptive controllers. The new activation function, established by quantum interference, replaces the classic Delta training method with an optimal online training rule to ensure better performance at a higher training rate. This new neural network is capable of tracking high-frequency noises and is integrated into the space manipulator adaptive controller to track model parameter estimation errors and disturbances.

Extended-state-observer-based dynamic surface control of flexible-joint robot systems with input saturation

Lian Chen et al.

Summary: This article presents an extended-state-observer-based dynamic surface control approach for flexible-joint robot systems with asymmetric input saturation and large unknown dynamic knowledge. The approach utilizes an extended state observer to estimate the unknown dynamics, overcoming stability issues through delay strategy, filtering system, and mean-value-theorem. The method outperforms traditional fuzzy control algorithms by omitting online learning time and requiring only a few control parameters for satisfactory tracking performance.

Research on Manipulation Strategy and Flight Test of the Quad Tilt Rotor in Conversion Process

Yonghong Chen et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a novel manipulation strategy based on the states of QTR to address the problem of manipulation redundancy during conversion flight. By controlling the tilt angle of the nacelle and speed error of the propellers, as well as using the Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) method to observe and compensate for disturbances, the proposed strategy is shown to be effective and reasonable through simulation and flight tests.
