MCF: Mutual Correction Framework for Semi-Supervised Medical Image Segmentation

Yongchao Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel mutual correction framework (MCF) is proposed to address the issue of model cognitive bias in semi-supervised medical image segmentation (SSMIS). The framework utilizes a contrastive difference review (CDR) module and a dynamic competitive pseudo-label generation (DC-PLG) module to correct the bias and enhance the performance of SSMIS. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method compared to state-of-the-art methods.

Revisiting Weak-to-Strong Consistency in Semi-Supervised Semantic Segmentation

Lihe Yang et al.

Summary: This work revisits the weak-to-strong consistency framework and applies it to the segmentation scenario, achieving competitive results. To explore a broader perturbation space and probe original image-level augmentations, the authors propose an auxiliary feature perturbation stream and a dual-stream perturbation technique. Their approach, UniMatch, significantly outperforms existing methods across multiple benchmarks.

Interpolation consistency training for semi-supervised learning

Vikas Verma et al.

Summary: Interpolation Consistency Training (ICT) is a simple and efficient algorithm for training Deep Neural Networks in the semi-supervised learning paradigm, which moves the decision boundary to low-density regions of the data distribution in classification problems. Experimental results show that ICT achieves state-of-the-art performance when applied to CIFAR-10 and SVHN benchmark datasets.

Semi-Supervised Segmentation of Radiation-Induced Pulmonary Fibrosis From Lung CT Scans With Multi-Scale Guided Dense Attention

Guotai Wang et al.

Summary: This paper presents a semi-supervised learning method for monitoring pulmonary fibrosis, which includes a novel convolutional neural network called PF-Net and an effective iterative confidence-based optimization and pseudo label weighting framework called I-CRAWL. Experiments show that PF-Net achieves higher segmentation accuracy than other neural network methods, and I-CRAWL performs well in semi-supervised learning. This method has the potential to improve the diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis and clinical assessment of side effects of radiotherapy.
