Molecular Characterization and Designing of a Novel Multiepitope Vaccine Construct Against Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Jyotirmayee Dey et al.

Summary: In this study, a computational approach was used to design a vaccine against Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection. The vaccine, containing peptides from B-cells and T-cells, showed good immunogenic and biophysical properties. Through various experiments, the vaccine demonstrated promising efficacy in preventing Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.

The potential of plant-derived secondary metabolites as novel drug candidates against Klebsiella pneumoniae: Molecular docking and simulation investigation

Soumya Ranjan Mahapatra et al.

Summary: In this study, plant secondary metabolites were used to predict new drug targets for Klebsiella pneumoniae. Virtual screening and molecular dynamics simulations were performed to identify compounds with stable interactions with the target enzyme. The results provide important insights into the mechanism of ligand-receptor interaction.

Designing a novel multi-epitope vaccine to evoke a robust immune response against pathogenic multidrug-resistant Enterococcus faecium bacterium

Jyotirmayee Dey et al.

Summary: This study aimed to design a novel vaccine against Enterococcus faecium using immunoinformatics approaches. Through in-depth analysis, suitable epitopes were selected for vaccine development. The constructed vaccine showed high immunogenicity and stability. Immune simulation results indicated a strong immune response, making it a promising target.

Development and evaluation of a recombinant VP2 neutralizing epitope antigen vaccine candidate for infectious bursal disease virus

Xiaochen Guo et al.

Summary: This study confirmed the five neutralizing epitopes of IBDV VP2 protein, constructed NEA protein, and evaluated the immune effect and protective immunity of NEA protein with different adjuvants in specific-pathogen-free chickens. The experimental results demonstrated that GM-CSF was the optimal adjuvant, and chickens immunized with NEA vaccines showed stronger immune responses and protection.

Immunoinformatics and molecular docking studies reveal a novel Multi-Epitope peptide vaccine against pneumonia infection

Soumya Ranjan Mahapatra et al.

Summary: A novel multi-epitope vaccine targeting the highly immunodominant type 3 fimbrial protein of Klebsiella pneumoniae was developed using immunoinformatics techniques. The vaccine showed high potential for stimulating B and T-cell immune responses against pneumonia infection, but experimental immunological studies are necessary to confirm its viability as a commercial vaccine.
