Synthesis of Three-Dimensional Reduced-Graphene Oxide from Graphene Oxide

Rasmeet Singh et al.

Summary: Carbon materials and their allotropes, including zero-dimensional fullerenes, one-dimensional carbon materials, and two-dimensional graphene materials, have significant applications in energy storage, electrochemical catalysis, and environmental remediation. In order to meet the increasing demand, three-dimensional graphene structures assembled from graphene sheets have been developed. This article discusses the general mechanism of synthesis, vital procedures for fabrication, and important aspects controlling the growth of three-dimensional reduced-graphene oxide (rGO).
