Triangle mechanism in the decay process B0→J/ψK0f0(980)(a0(980))

The role of the triangle mechanism in the decay processes B-0 -> J/psi K(0)f(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(+)pi(-) and B-0 -> J/psi K(0)a(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(0)eta is investigated. The triangle singularity that appears in these processes leads to sizable branching fractions of 7.67 x 10(-7) for Br(B-0 -> J/psi K(0)f(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(+)pi(-)), and 1.42x10(-7) for Br (B-0 -> J/psi K(0)a(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(0)eta). This study provides valuable information on the scalar meson f(0)(980) or a(0)(980).
The role of the triangle mechanism in the decay processes B-0 -> J/psi K(0)f(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(+)pi(-) and B-0 -> J/psi K(0)a(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(0)eta is probed. In these processes, the triangle singularity appears from the decay of B-0 in to J/psi K-0, and then, phi decays into K-0(K) over bar (0) merged into f(0) or a(0), which finally decay into pi(+)pi(-) and pi(0)eta, respectively. We find that this mechanism leads to a triangle singularity around and gives sizable branching fractions Br(B-0 -> J/psi K(0)f(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(+)pi(-)) = 7.67 x 10(-7) and Br (B-0 -> J/psi K(0)a(0) -> J/psi K-0 pi(0)eta) = 1.42x10(-7). This investigation can help us obtain the information of the scalar meson f(0)(980) or a(0) (980).
