Performance of BEA, FAU, LTL, MFI, and MOR zeolites in the removal of ethyl mercaptan traces from natural gas by Monte Carlo molecular simulation

Fatemeh Ektefa et al.

Summary: Selective removal of ethyl mercaptan from natural gas is a challenge in the gas industry. Nanoporous zeolite frameworks, especially FAU zeolite, show high adsorption capacity for ethyl mercaptan and could be a promising candidate for industrial desulfurization of natural gas.

Experimental study on the dehydration characteristics and evolution of the physicochemical structure of XilinGol lignite during the dehydration process

Xiaohong Liu et al.

Summary: The dehydration characteristics and structural changes of lignite under different conditions were studied. It was found that the dehydration rate of lignite is closely related to temperature and thickness, while the relative content of oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface of dehydrated lignite decreases gradually. Additionally, specific surface area, total pore volume, and average pore diameter decrease with extended dehydration time.
