Leader-following consensus of multi-agent systems with connectivity-mixed attacks and actuator/sensor faults

Chun Liu et al.

Summary: This study investigates the leader-following consensus issue of multi-agent systems subject to simultaneous connectivity-mixed attacks, actuator/sensor faults, and disturbances. It proposes a switched version modeling connectivity-mixed attacks as connectivity-maintained and connectivity-paralyzed topologies, and establishes actuator/sensor faults with unified incipient-type and abrupt-type characteristics. Unknown input observer-based decoupling and estimation are incorporated to achieve unknown state and fault observations, and leader-following consensus-based compensation to faults, resilience to attacks, and robustness to disturbances are realized through a distributed framework. The criteria for achieving exponential leader-following consensus under cyber-physical threats are derived based on dual attack frequency and activation rate indicators. A simulation example is conducted to validate and demonstrate the proposed leader-following consensus algorithm's effectiveness and advantages.

Fixed-time sliding mode control with mismatched disturbances

Emmanuel Moulay et al.

Summary: The aim of this article is to develop new second-order fixed-time sliding mode controllers capable of handling mismatched disturbances. Unlike what is commonly done in the literature, the proposed sliding-mode control strategy does not rely on disturbance observers due to the robustness properties of the sliding surface. Moreover, the results are utilized to define a new fixed-time differentiator.

New insights on fuzzy sampled-data stabilization of delayed nonlinear systems

Ramasamy Saravanakumar et al.

Summary: This paper explores an improved T-S fuzzy stabilization criteria for nonlinear systems with time-delays via a memory sampled-data strategy in the looped-functional context. The study introduces a new integral inequality and employs specific integral inequality methods to derive improved stabilization conditions. A fuzzy memory sampled-data controller is designed to ensure the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system.

A Robust Non-Fragile Control Lag Synchronization for Fractional Order Multi-Weighted Complex Dynamic Networks with Coupling Delays

S. Aadhithiyan et al.

Summary: This study addresses the fractional order lag synchronization for multi-weighted complex dynamical networks with coupling delays via non-fragile control. A general multi-weighted complex network model including the coupling delays with external disturbances is established and lag synchronization criteria are investigated using state feedback non-fragile control. By utilizing the Lyapunov stability theorem and comparison principle, the model ensures lag synchronization under the controller, as shown in numerical simulations with examples.

Event-based distributed sliding mode formation control of multi-agent systems and its applications to robot manipulators

Deyin Yao et al.

Summary: This article addresses the event-based distributed sliding mode formation control problem of leader-following multi-agent systems subject to uncertain perturbations. Firstly, a distributed linear sliding manifold is constructed to ensure the asymptotic convergence of the states of multi-agent systems. Secondly, an event-triggered mechanism is proposed based on the controller output signal to reduce the requirement for continuous monitoring. Through this mechanism, the distributed robust sliding mode formation protocol can guarantee the system to reach the preestablished sliding manifold in finite time and maintain the desired formation pattern while eliminating Zeno behavior. Finally, numerical examples and simulations on robotic manipulator systems are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Novel adaptive strategies for synchronization control mechanism in nonlinear dynamic fuzzy modeling of fractional-order genetic regulatory networks

G. Narayanan et al.

Summary: The synchronization problem of a nonlinear dynamic fuzzy modeling of fractional-order genetic regulatory networks with adaptive feedback controllers is addressed in this paper. Fuzzy feedback MAX template and fuzzy feedback MIN template are introduced to solve this problem. Adaptive based criteria are developed to ensure the stability of the error system and the synchronization of the drive system with the response system by constructing a proper Lyapunov functional and using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. Two distinct controllers, linear feedback and adaptive feedback control, are developed. The presented results in terms of LMI can be efficiently solved using Matlab LMI toolbox. Numerical simulations are carried out to demonstrate the theoretical results.

Summary: This paper discusses the use of decoupled disturbance compensator in integral sliding mode control to address mismatched disturbances in discrete-time systems. The proposed method separates disturbance compensation from control input, improving system performance by minimizing control effort and eliminating the reaching phase. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the approach.
