Inferring missing edges in a graph from observed collective patterns

Selim Haj Ali et al.

Summary: This article introduces a method to complete incomplete networks by observing their collective behavior. By matching patterns in reaction-diffusion systems to eigenvectors of the network's Laplacian matrix, missing edges can be predicted.

Predictable topological sensitivity of Turing patterns on graphs

Marc-Thorsten Huett et al.

Summary: The influence of network topology on pattern diversity in reaction-diffusion systems has been examined. Even minor changes in network topology can lead to significant changes in pattern diversity. By analyzing the spectrum of the graph Laplacian and linearized dynamics, the topological sensitivity of the attractor landscape can be predicted without full simulation of the dynamical equations.

Two classes of functional connectivity in dynamical processes in networks

Venetia Voutsa et al.

Summary: The relationship between network structure and dynamics is investigated by distinguishing two classes of functional connectivity, providing examples of SC/FC correlations in various models, and expanding the theoretical view of SC/FC relationships.
