Environmental Consequences of Intensive Aquaculture Practices at Moyna Purba Medinipur West Bengal India with Special Reference to Carbon Footprint and Carbon Sequestration

Summary: This study investigated the effects of commercial fish feed (CFF) and formulated fish feed (FFF) on various aspects of fish, including water quality, growth performance, meat quality, survival rate, and antioxidant properties. The results showed that FFF significantly improved water quality, growth performance, and nutritional properties compared to CFF. It also increased the protein and fat content in fish meat, as well as the levels of bioactive compounds.
