Studying the effect of the scanned objects' location on material discrimination in a dual-energy cargo inspection system

Summary: Dual-energy X-ray radiography has the capability to discriminate and identify materials, with the ability to obtain material discrimination curves for graphite, aluminum, steel, and lead based on height functions. This method can significantly reduce calibration time and increase calibration accuracy in inspection systems.
