3D Dirac Semimetal Supported Tunable TE Modes

Xiaoyong He et al.

Summary: The tunable propagation properties of transverse electric plasmonic modes in the mid-IR spectral region have been investigated using air-Dirac semimetal-Si asymmetric structures, considering the effects of Fermi levels, temperatures, and scattering times. The results indicate that the propagation properties of the plasmonic modes can be adjusted when the Fermi level of the Dirac semimetal layer is not very high.
