The key issues, associated with nanocarriers for small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), are their poor stability and lack of tumor target-ability in vivo. To address these issues, we developed gold-installed polyethyleneimine/siRNA complexes with a corona of PEGylated hyaluronic acid.
