Conditioned Taste Aversion as a Tool for Mitigating Human-Wildlife Conflicts

Lysanne Snijders et al.

Summary: Modern wildlife management aims to reduce human-wildlife conflict and support conservation of biodiversity, utilizing tools like conditioned taste aversion (CTA). However, mixed results in field studies have led to decreased confidence in its efficacy among managers. More use of learning theory related to CTA may help increase success in wildlife conservation and management.
