Bruch Membrane Opening Detection Accuracy in Healthy Eyes and Eyes With Glaucoma With and Without Axial High Myopia in an American and Korean Cohort

Jasmin Rezapour et al.

Summary: The purpose of this study was to determine the predictors of Bruch membrane opening (BMO) location accuracy and visibility in glaucoma and healthy individuals. The study found that axial high myopia, larger axial length, larger BMO tilt angle, lower BMO ovality index, and glaucoma diagnosis were significant predictors of BMO location inaccuracy.

Detection of Longitudinal Ganglion Cell/Inner Plexiform Layer Change: Comparison of Two Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography Devices

Golnoush Mahmoudinezhad et al.

Summary: This study compared the rates of change in macular ganglion cell/inner plexiform thickness in eyes with glaucoma using two different optical coherence tomography devices. The results showed that Spectralis OCT detected changes in GCIPL more frequently and at a faster rate compared to Cirrus OCT.
