MASS GROWTH OF OBJECTS AND CATEGORICAL ENTROPY

Akishi Ikeda

Summary: This paper summarizes the pioneering work by Dimitrov-Haiden-Katzarkov-Kontsevich, discussing the fundamental properties of the growth rate of mass of objects under the mapping by endofunctor and clarifying its relationship with entropy. They also demonstrate that they coincide under a certain condition.

Three notions of dimension for triangulated categories

Alexey Elagin et al.

Summary: This note discusses three notions of dimension for triangulated categories: Rouquier dimension, diagonal dimension, and Serre dimension. Basic properties of these dimensions are proved, comparisons are made, and open problems are discussed.

Serre dimension and stability conditions

Kohei Kikuta et al.

Summary: This study explores the relationship between the growth of the entropy of the Serre functor and the global dimension of Bridgeland stability conditions, as well as proving a fundamental inequality between the Serre dimension and the infimum of the global dimensions. Furthermore, Gepner type stability conditions on fractional Calabi-Yau categories are characterized via the Serre dimension, and triangulated categories with a Serre dimension lower than one and a Gepner type stability condition are classified.

On pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences

Yu-Wei Fan et al.

Summary: This paper proves that any autoequivalence of a triangulated category induces a filtration by triangulated subcategories, and proposes a more general definition of pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences. New examples of pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences are constructed on certain categories, and it is shown that certain pseudo-Anosov autoequivalences act hyperbolically on the space of Bridgeland stability conditions.

Categorical polynomial entropy

Yu-Wei Fan et al.

Summary: The study introduces the theory of categorical polynomial entropy, refining the categorical entropy defined by previous scholars. By computing the categorical polynomial entropy for standard functors, the research illustrates how this concept refines the study of categorical entropy and enables the investigation of the categorical trichotomy phenomenon.
