Magnetic Properties of FeSiAl Soft Magnetic Composites under Transverse Magnetic Field

J. L. Ni et al.

Summary: The magnetic properties of FeSiAl soft magnetic composites based on mechanically crushed powder were studied under transverse magnetic field. The results showed that the permeability decreased and magnetic losses reduced significantly, mainly due to the decrease in hysteresis loss. This reduction in hysteresis loss and permeability was attributed to the enlargement of domain size under transverse magnetic field.
